Bobbie...he will always be "Bobbie" to me. His mother...Auntie Mary...and my father...Uncle Billy...were brother and sister. Though we moved to California in the early 60's, I have memories of Bobbie and me. Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Butcher's...time spent at his house in Cleveland...time spent at parks and on the shores of the lake. He was my buddy. Even though he once put my finger in the pencil sharpener and turned the crank...boys being boys!...he has a special place in my...

Bobby & I were so close when we were growing up. He wrote each other long letters the entire time he was in Nam. He told me stuff he never told others.
Our family has been so distant since our parents died. It even started after Grandma & Grandpa Pfeifer died. We didn't see each other as often. I remember all the Holidays at their house & the fun we always had. They all spoke in German when they didn't want us kids to know what they were saying. Good memories.
God be with you Rita &...

Sincere condolences Aunt Rita. Uncle Bob's obituary was very nice and well stated. He was a wonderful man and served his country and oh how true about he always gave you a hug, kiss or shook your hand. I love his photo in his obituary. We have many happy memories of spending time with Bob and he had a really funny laugh and a good heart. We will miss him very much. Rest in peace Uncle Bob and I will be praying for our family.

I remember growing up, mom and dad always played cards at your house while Tara and I played, you were always eating them clams in your chair. You had the loudest, gut laugh ever. We all played Frisbee in the street on 58th.We had great memories growing up, you were like a 2nd dad. May you rest in peace Bob.
