Not sure what to say?

Mr. Phillips was such a kind man! He always had a smile and a warm greeting for students, whether he had them in class or not. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Sue Beers Hagan Dayton, Oh.
PHS Class of '74

We loved Phister and he was such a great guy, in high school for me and also to my parents. Deepest condolences! Laurie Burand Wiesenberg

I worked for Bob at PHS and he was truly a leader for the staff. He was always willing to listen and cared about each and every person who walked in the doors of the school. His love and dedication was remarkable. He left an impression on those who came in contact with him.

He was a wonderful man! So sorry for your loss. We have all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

I will never forget the time my Sister n I got to go to the computer dance my freshman yr on the way to the School that night I Managed to loose my dollar for the dance As I Was Searching for the lost dollar Mr.Phillips Approached Asked "What are you doing out here Nelda" Practically in tears I told him I'd lost my dollar He then pulls a dollar out of his pocket and Say Go Have A Good Time I Thanked him "said one day I'll pay you back"and made a mad dash to the door Yrs...

So sorry to hear of the loss of Bob. Your family is in my prayers.

My memories of Bob are of his kindness and support when I first began teaching at PHS. He always displayed concern for his staff and their work with students. He was open and friendly, and I always felt comfortable speaking with him about my work. Bob was a first-class educator, administrator, and citizen. I became a more effective educator because of his guidance, and more importantly, the world of education was made better for him being a part of it. Peace, Bob.

Dear Carol and family,
We are so sorry to know that Bob suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Please know we are keeping you, your family and Bob's many friends, neighbors and former colleagues in our thoughts and prayers. He was loved and respected by all who knew him, including this former PHS student and faculty member. Sincerely, Nancy (Jensen) Arndt, Class of 76, and Ken Arndt.

Dear Carol, I am so sorry to hear of Bob's illness and passing. I have read your Facebook postings over the years; it is obvious that you have had a wonderful marriage and have a great family and friends. God bless and keep you. Jan Gigliotti
