Robert L. "Bob" Purdom

I am so sorry for your loss. Bobby was a classmate, friend and teammate on the 1950 SHS football team. Although we never met after graduation we communicated several years ago and discussed football, including his game-winning catch of a TD pass against St Joe Prep. He will be missed.

To the Purdom family. During this difficult time family, friends and even strangers want to express how much they care for your family by a note or a warm hug. Proverbs 17:17 says "A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress."

He was well thought of at Western Ky Gas Co employees and my late husband, Norman Hughes. He loved all of his children. So sorry for your loss.
