Thank you Dr. Reynolds for being Instrumental in jump starting my career as your Anesthesia Technician at the Boston Floating OR from 1971-1975. I then went on to Nursing School and in the early to mid 80s became the Distributor for a start up Orthopedic Implant Company in New York that became a leader in the Industry. The "real deal" before "real deals" were invented. I learned so much from him, not only anesthesia, but how to live with integrity.I have so many stories, but will only relate one. After being his resident, I became a faculty and wound up with the locker next to him. As we were changing our clothes at the end of a day, I asked "Dr. Reynolds what do you think about..... I am so sad. Dr Reynolds (I still can't call him Bob) was a giant in pediatric anesthesia. He was brilliant, innovative, and funny, and he inspired me to follow him into that field. I have so much to thank him for, and I will sincerely miss my teacher, mentor and friend.
