I am very saddened to learn of Bob's passing. We spent two great years together as roommates at UVA. Bob from Charlotte on a boxing scholarship and me from New Jersey as an out of state student. We didn't understand what the other was saying for about two weeks.

Our family honored and celebrated the life of Robert Franklin Rush last weekend in Charlotte. The church was filled with people that were touched by Bob. My Uncle Bob was a major influence in my life and we shared 52 very special years together. He will live on in my son Bobby and the special memories my children have of Uncle Bob and Aunt Pat. I just heard of Bob's passing. He was one of the best attorneys that I knew. It saddens my heart of his passing. May he RIP.
