Robert K. Smith

I was Robert´s teacher when he was a freshman at Albany High and we became lifelong friends. I was part of his Eagle Scout council and met his parents Hazel and Art who treated me like one of their own. I can´t count the number of times I came to his rescue when he was in trouble with them. Smitty stayed in touch through the years and always made me laugh with his adventures. While I was in church this weekend and praying for him I looked up and a young girl in front of me had a sweatshirt...

To the Smith family, So very sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Remembering all your family as the nicest people -growing up as backyard neighbors in Albany. My sincere sympathy.
