As an "adopted" sister of the Casey girls, I enjoyed getting to know Bob through the many Friday coffee klatches at his and Laney's home in Orono, as well as several other family events and gatherings. He seemed genuinely happy to see me and always asked about my husband, his one-time family Doc. Bob was a salt-of-the-earth kind of guy. He was loving, caring and clever. Sorry to hear about your dad. He was one of my favorite customer as well as yourself to the Orono Big Apple. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

I'm sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I hope we were equally fond of each other. I admired him as a hardworking man with a wide-range of interests. We will be neighbors in perpetuity at Fairview since my family buriel plot is next to his. I like knowing that.

To Bob's Family,

I'm sorry for your loss of your father. Bob was a special person. He was loving, kind, thoughtful. proud, honest, and yes sometimes stuborn. And I love him for all of those traits and many more. We shared a close and loving relationship that was full of laughs. I always knew that Bob was ready and willing to help in any way he could.
