Not sure what to say?

Robert was a close boyhood friend who was kind enough to share his parents with me. He had a great (and weird) sense of humor—introducing me to Mad Magazine somewhere along about 1953.

Our deepest sympathy goes to the family. I'll always remember Bob as such a great person who always seemed so gentle and full of good humor. He was a great combination of his parents, Aunt Flora and Uncle Jack (to me) and who were two wonderful people as well. Seeing Bob at the family reunion last April has such meaning now.
Love,
Susan (Levin) Katz and family

I never met Bob, but I know that my husband has always considered him to be a really special person. My sincere sympathies go to his family and friends.

I worked for Bob remotely in the mid-80s. I'd call him up and rant and rave about whatever I was letting bother me at the time. And in that wonderful, deep voice, he'd say (occasionally with just a leetle bit of exasperation), "Stubbs, what's the real problem".

The real problem, SnoBob, is that I'm really gonna miss the wit and wisdom presented in your basso profundo.

Bob was a special person who made to world of data processing a much warmer place. His humor and friendliness will always be remembered.

Bob and I were friends from early childhood in the Arlington Heights neighborhood. I have many fond memories of those days of Bob, me, Jack Wilson and others riding our bikes and getting into mischief in the wonderful summers of childhood. I saw Bob infrequently in these last years, but he will always be remembered as a dear friend, one whom I'll miss. Myrna is also a dear friend and my thoughts and prayers go out to her. May the Lord comfort you and be with you, Myrna, during this time....

Bob was exceptionally talented, as a computer analyst, knowledgable chef, wine connoisseur, and friend. He taught me more that almost anyone I've known. I'll miss him greatly.
