Not sure what to say?

Well, we always just explained to people that we had literally played together in the playpen. You were always there when we were kids. Although we took different paths in young adulthood, the Lord always managed to bring us together when I needed you the most.
I am honored to have felt that you were with me during my wedding last month, and am positive that you will remain ever present in my heart, mind, and life. You truly were one of those special people whose presence brightened...

where do i begin? what can i say, but les and i shared a world that only he and i knew...the times of the trailer, blinn, blinn marching band, college tour, the night we missed the bus on tour, the blue hooptie to Schwartz Hall...wait, now in College Station, "Betsy" (his car), the Hilton, the little company he and I started, Clicks, JD Wells, dance routines, 007, golf, Mhaikhan, the slippers, the parties, just everything...Les, I know you left but I know I will be seeing you again...To my...

When I think of Les I see his bright smiling face and hear his laugh. Wish I had gotten to know you better, buddy. You left a big empty spot on this big planet. My prayers are with you. God bless you man.

Les, you were one of God's very special children. I hope that you light up heaven as well as you did my life.
Goodbye, my beautiful friend, and love always-
JH

I had the opportunity to know Les only during the past year as I provided administrative support to his group at work. I will remember his smiles and friendly attitude and pray for the understanding and comfort he knew his family would need. My heart goes out to all of you.

What a blessing and privilege to have known Les. He left an imprint on the lives of so many. He was never short on smiles, laughter or time for a friend.

The abundance of fond memories that so many people have speaks volumes to his heart, character and the countless ways he has touched others. Les has left a legacy that personally challenges me to want to live a life that is worthy of such rememberance.

Les, I look forward to the day when I can dance down the Streets...

Today, we celebrated Les's life together. I wish he could have been there to see how much he was loved by so many people. He will live on in our memories.

I enjoyed the services today - brought back fond memories of playing on drumline with him in highschool. It was good to see him again at Bob Stilwell's wedding this past Spring. Sure enough he still had that touch to make everyone smile - even during tense rainy moments before the wedding ceremony. I'll always remember his ability to shine when others were down or to make anyone feel welcome through laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Les.

Les was another one of my kids. Since Tom, Jim and Bob were close in age, friends of one was a friend to all. One thing I will always remember about Les, besides his effervescent smile, and his ability to make others laugh, was his ability to dance. The first time I ever saw the Moon Walk was when Les proceeded to knock our socks off in my kitchen with his version of the Moon Walk. Les was LOOSE!

I can't tell you the countless hours Les and who knows how many others spent in...
