Bless you old friend

To Rodger's family.
I met Rodger at 20th Century Fox when I had my first job as a Set Decorator. I worked with him a few times but most important we became good friends for many years. I lost contact with Rodger when I moved on to other things.
I heard today of his passing and I am shocked and very sad. He was a wonderful, kind, talented friend to me. And it didn't hurt that he was easy on the eyes !
My heartfelt sympathy to his family.

My fav!

Sorry to hear of Rodger's passing. I always wondered who designed my favorite spaceship; the Spindrift. RIP Rodger and thank you so much.

Rodger was a valued mentor and dear friend over the years we worked together. He was such a lovely, kind gentleman and a very skilled professional.
Thank you, Rodger, for all your guidance in the art department and on the polo field. You are in my heart always. Christa Munro, art director

So very sad to hear about Rodger. We met him in 1992 and he was totally charming. He will live on through his tremendous work, not the least for the wonderful prop and set designs for the Irwin Allen television shows. Our thoughts are with all of his family.

Rodger was such a quiet achiever ! His work for Irwin Allen will never be forgotten, I especially liked the Space Pod design for Lost in Space it was so ahead of it's time. Would have liked to have met him in real life :)
