Knock, knock. Who's there? Not me anymore! If you are reading this I have passed on and while I will not get "the last word", my family is generous enough to allow me these words. I have died after a multi year struggle with HPV related oral and neck cancer. This is from a common virus that many...

Not sure what to say?

I never met Rick but a friend worked with him. I have to say what a beautiful, thoughtful obitury. i admire his courage and yours.Thank you for sharing this. Much sympathy to all of your family and friends

We are very sorry for your loss. We pray in your behalf, and we offer the hope of welcoming back our loved ones on a Paradise earth. Psm 37:29

Rick Schall will be remembered by so many who were helped by his incredible talent. When I was at Good Shepherd, he seemed to be everywhere especially for people in need at any location. He knew no hours! I will never forget rushing to the cafeteria between meetings for a bite and Rick said you go on and he picked up the tab....refusing to take my money. He was generous in heart and spirit. To Terri , Leah and Anna, You were all so bragged upon by Rick. I am so sad for all you have...

Rick's Rainbow. It spanned thd sky in the Lehigh Valley not long after he passed. Remarkable. Like the man.

Rick was a light during a dark time in our lives, and we will always be grateful for that. It was his quick wit and compassionate care that aided in healing. We will greatly miss the lively repartee we had with him.

So Saddened to hear of Rick's passing and ordeal of the cancer journey....He was my favorite Psychologist for my Spinal Cord patients at Good Shepard where I was a nurse. ..I could always seek advice on how to help them COPE with the new life changes...His humor got us all thru!....Glad to read He went through St Luke's Hospice...I trust They made His passing more comfortable and Helped You the family with kind compassion...I feel blessed to have crossed Rick's path in life.....Sincerely,...

He was a friend to all of us at Good Shepherd. His sense of humor was incredible even in dark times. He was known for his "walking lunches". He would get his food in a cup and eat while he visited everyone in the cafeteria. It was hard to pin him down, but sometimes he sat with us, regaled us with a funny story or two. He will surely be missed by many in the GS family.

Rick was a very special person who was so caring and kind with a great sense of humor. He always took the time to listen and offer insight into many areas. He was an avid family man and jumped into the girls activities even with his busy work schedule. He gladly supported my husband and I in our long health struggle.
My heart goes with you Teri, Leah and Anna. I know what a difficult time you are having but you are left with so many fun and special memories.

Most times, when my husband and I would visit with Rick and Terri in our backyard, he would greet me by kissing my hand.

I will miss that.
