Roger was one of the most decent humane beings I have ever had the privilege of knowing and everyone he met became better for it.

Roger was great man. I am proud to have worked for him as a paving foreman . He was a pleasure to work for and a good friend. Thankful for the years spent with him at Lane. My sympathies are with his beloved family.

July 20,2020 - I just learned of Roger's passing. Having worked under his leadership for 37 years, I experienced his sense of humor, his kindness, and his willingness to listen to opinions of his co-workers. On behalf of the team at Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport, our thoughts and prayers are with the Benton Family. We worked with Roger on numerous airfield construction projects and he was always friendly and well respected.

Roger was my boss for 12 years. He was the best boss I ever had. He supported me very much during my battle with cancer which I never will forget! My condolences go out to his family and friends.
