Roger Lee Davis

Roger was born on September 22, 1946 and passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018. Roger was a resident of Monroe County, Alabama at the time of passing. He graduated from Lyeffion High School in 1964. Mr. Davis was a member of the Army National Guard, Evergreen Unit for six years. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Wilson Davis of Old Salem; his mother, Wynona Hardee Davis of Fairnelson; his children, Kerry Davis (Darren) Dean of Peterman, Jason (Stacey) Davis of Evergreen, and Daniel (Jennifer) Davis of Evergreen; his step children, Patricia (Joel) Black of Old Salem, Regina Black of Old Salem, and Deborah Black (Brad) Jordan of Excel; his brother, Tommy Davis of Monroeville; his sister, Peggy (Ronnie) Jackson of Birmingham; five grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and five step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Minister Perry Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Church of Christ Cemetery in Conecuh County. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
