Roger Davis, 71, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, September 15, 2018, at a local facility.
Mr. Davis was born March 15, 1947, to Walter and Clovis Davis. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and was a veteran of the Texas National Guard.
He was retired from Macedonia Eylau M.U.D.
Roger is preceded in death by his mother and father, and one sister, Gail Freeman. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Davis; one son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Stacey Davis; and two grandchildren, Darbi Davis and Blake Bearden.
Services will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, September 17, 2018, at the funeral home.
The family has requested that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to either Alzheimer's Alliance TriState at 100 Memory Ln., Texarkana, Texas 75503; or Hospice of Texarkana at 2407 Galleria Oaks, Texarkana, Texas 75503.
