ROGER ERICKSON

Dear Dorothy, I doubt you"lol receive this but in case you do, please accept my heartfelt condolences with the passing of Roger. You may remember my family who knew you as neighbor's on Astoria Blvd. I babysat for your boys and my parents loved having you as neighbors. My mom, Arlene, continues to do very well at 96 years old. my dad, Vern, passed away many years ago. My family and I have very fond memories of you and Roger. I think the thing I'll miss most about my uncle Roger is his sense of humor. He had a quick wit and a funny comment on just about everything.
Also, his generosity. He bought me my first washing machine and dryer on HIS birthday. He sent Dorothy and me on a fabulous trip to London.
And his smile, it was so warm. He made me feel safe. I knew he'd be there for me if I needed anything. He was a great guy, a great husband, a great father and a wonderful uncle. We'll miss him, but he...
