My Dad worked for Roger & A.M. in the 60's. Dad was the Comptrpller of the Plaza and went on to become Corporate Controller until 1969. He told of so many great stories abour them & HCA. Jack Morse was my Dad.

Dear Joan,
When you told me about Roger just a few minutes ago it was shock,pain and disbelief.Like losing a brother after 50 years of mutual affection.
Jacqueline and I will miss him forever
and in our hearts we are very close
to you these sad times.

I would like to extend my condolences to the entire Sonnabend family. As a single parent, Roger literally put me in a position to raise my family, and I will forever be grateful for his kindness and believing in me and my program.

I was so shocked to learn that the Sonnabend family, has lost the person who cared so much about the people that worked for Sonesta, and the hospitalisty industry...You have a great loss and those of us who loved working for Sonesta Hotels
will always remember him...My heartfelt thoughts are with you.
