Not sure what to say?

Sylvia, I was so sad to hear about Roger. Although I didn't know him personally, I felt like I did, though all the wonderful things you always said about him. I love that there was never a negative word and always such a positive spirit that seemed to flow between the two of you. You were a wonderful wife and friend to him and I hope you have a sweet peace in your heart about that. I miss you and would love to see you sometime soon!

A kind-hearted gentleman. I know Roger will be deeply missed! Love to you all.

"Roger A", as my suite mates and I jokingly called him at UNC, lit up our lives those many years ago with his humor, his genuineness, and his abiding friendship. Sylvia and Roger were meant for each other, and the loving family which resulted is a testament to their closeness and love. Rest in peace, old friend.

Roger is one the nicest guys that that I have ever known. I first met him at UNC as a suitemate and many of us in the suite became very close friends. He did so love his family, golf and the UNC Tar Heels. ALWAYS fun to be around. Prayers to all the family.

Many thanks to Roger and his family for all they have done for the entire staff of the Southside Shopper and the Mundy family. I know he and Henry are together in heaven embracing all those golf outings and days of the News Paper business. Roger will be greatly missed.

Roger had a kind word for everyone. I loved to hear him laugh...What a sense of humor. He loved his family so much and us, Sylvia's extended family. I remember him coming into The Town Shoppe to sell ads for the news papers...always with a smile even if we didn't buy and ad... He will be missed by many. Our prayers and sympathy to you all...

Roger,
You were a good friend and you will be missed. I was honored to have you as my friend. Hit them straight in Heaven.

So sorry to hear this. Roger was a suite mate of mine at UNC. We all got together for a football game a few years back, the first time in decades. Same folks, just older. It was a great experience and we had been talking about doing it again. Roger was one of the good guys and will be missed.
