Not sure what to say?

My uncle John's dad was a fighter. He had been sick for quite a while but still hung in there like a champ.
Over the years I only saw "Grandpa" Roger two or three times. Even in those brief meetings it was obvious how great a man "Grandpa" Roger was. I have nothing but love, gratitude, and respect for the late Roger Velliquette. Without him I would not know the man I am proud to call my uncle.

My dad was a man of uncompromised character, a man of integrity and complete honesty; he always told it like it was whether you liked it or not. I looked up to him and admired him for his many admirable qualities and always aspired to be like him. He was my hero. He taught me many valuable life lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I am grateful that God shared him with us and will miss him dearly. But I have a lifetime of memories to remember him by and he will live...
