Roger Barry Ward

To those who knew Roger best, please accept my sincere condolences. I had a good fortune of serving at the Spencer Art Reference Library during Roger´s tenure at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. He left not long after I was gone. He was always courteous and gracious towards me, and I appreciated his presence. Those of you who were close to him were indeed blessed.

Sorry to hear that about Roger's passing. I knew him from Kindergarten at Sowers Elementary where we were good friends. (If I remember right, our fathers worked for the same Wichita aircraft company - probably Beech in their computer department - and would ride to work together on occasion.)
