WINSTON SALEM, North Carolina

Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

I can with absolute certainty say the the life he lived is one to aspire to both personally & proff. I used to stop in to observe him in court sometimes & it was an event but know he put GOD 1st everyday. RIP dear sir.

To the Hayes Family, From our hearts to yours. May God continue to replace the sorrow with His love.

Uncle, you will be missed. I always followed you career even when I was in the military.

To the entire Hayes family and friends: We have known the the man as a banker, graduate student, practicing lawyer, judge and friend, etc. since coming to Winston-Salem in 1955. In all of that time, we learned that he was a generous, genuine, honest, humble, humerous, just person! He was a true leader, by example!!! Our most memorable and lasting experiences were those, as a 60-year Omega man, W-S/FC Emancipation Association Board member and contributor, and lastly, as a member of the Carver...

may God continue to put his arms around you and your family and let you all know he will never leave you or forsake you.

Hayes family, sorrow is not forever "LOVE IS" may God give you the strength you need to go through this,we love you all.David and Betty Gregg

Dear Mrs Hayes
I was saddened to learn of the death of Mr Hayes. You both were such important figures during my youth in Winston-Salem. The enormous achievements of Mr Hayes will bring you comfort as you reflect on all the good that you both have been responsible for. Many young people in the City had a much brighter future thanks to Mr Hayes' tireless work.

Mrs. Barbara,
Know that we love you and appreciate all the warmth and kindness you and Judge Hayes have shown me throughout my stay in WS.May GOD bless and keep you is my prayer,

Judge Roland Hayes wrote his own epitaph through the life he lived in the community:
May the work I've done speak for me.

Enough said.

May God hold you in the palm of His hands.
