Not sure what to say?

The world definitely was more fun with Ron in it. As sad as we are that he's gone, we are forever grateful and honored that he called us friends for 36 years and left us with so many treasured memories.

Mitch & Paula, Strawberry Friends

I was extremely fortunate to camp in the Doo Doo Wah camp at my very first Strawberry Music Festival about 20 years ago. Ron DeLacy instilled the 'Strawberry spirit' in my Wife and I and that would be the first of many for us. His humor created a cheerful atmosphere wherever he was, and that's where it was fun to be. Ron was the best part of our Strawberry Family and he will be truly missed. Our best wishes go out to his Family. I'll always remember the good times, and Ron made them better.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron at The Bee. First when he was working on the copy desk and then when we worked in Features. I cannot bring up any one moment or story. To me every day was a fun day with Ron. He was just funny and made work fun. He also shared his birthday with my husband. Honestly, they both have a warped sense of humor. But, I love them both. He left us way to soon.

Wish I could have known you better...and longer.

Hey Ron, I've been trying to remember how long we actually worked together at the Tiser and Bee. I think it might have been almost two years. Two years that turned into 36 years of crazy stories, laughter and fun. Thanks for sharing so much with me. It was a blast!

Hi, Anyone with stories to share about Ron please send them to [email protected], he left his baby girl and also his grandson Cole who is just 10. I am trying to put something together for them to get a true picture of such a loving family man. Yes, we have tremendous grief, but life is what Ron was all about. We have to smile and keep on finding the funny part of everything. Thank you Clare for such a great obit, and everyone for your love and support.

I'm surprised at the depth of my grief at your passing. You leave a huge hole for us all. End of an era, for sure. I'm sad that I never told you how much your silly songs lifted my spirits at a dark time. I know every one by heart. Thank you for being a bright spot in the lives of us simple hillbillies. I will raise a toast to you at every Strawberry. Love and healing to Lisa & Lily, Macejko & Max, your family, friends and caregivers. You, my friend, will be sorely missed.

We miss you soooo much, Ron. Our thoughtful, funny, courageous friend. John and Kay

Lisa,
From what I just read, you have a big hole in your heart. It must have been a wonderful experience knowing and loving him.
Take care.
