Dr. Reber was my childhood dentist when I was growing up in south Lorain. I remember his hair back then, a 'fro" hairdo and I remember early morning visits so I would never miss a school day. On one of my birthdays I was at the dentist, and he had my room decorated in balloons, how nice. I became a dentist and practiced in Vermilion and became a colleague of Dr. Reber. I also worked with him on a couple of GKAS projects with the students of LCCC. So I have some nice memories to share with...

I will remember Dr. Ron fondly. He was always kind to me--willing to share his expertise and experiences in the dental field with someone younger than himself. At one point, I thought he would practice dentistry until the day he died! He loved it that much! He was also very dedicated to the Lorain County Dental community. He attended most Lorain County Dental Society meetings and functions and served as one of the delegates to the state meeting for many years. He served on the board of the...

Like many others in Lorain, Dr. Reber was our family dentist for over 50 years; all seven of us. I have memories of going to his office in South Lorain when I was little and will always remember his kindness and wonderful personality. He could talk to you about anything. Later on, when I would come home to Lorain, I would see him and Phyllis at Mass at Holy Trinity and would always go out of my way to seek him out afterward and say hello. Randy, you were in my First Communion class at Holy...

So sorry to see Dr. Reber's passing. He was our family's dentist for many years. He was such a kind person. I remember when my husband had not seen a dentist for several years and when he went to Dr. Reber, he had him come in at 6:00 am for several days to get this work done so my husband wouldn't have to miss work. Good thing we lived in the apartment complex across the parking lot at the time :) He truly cared about his patients and has been missed since he retired. May he rest in peace.

Pam and Randy,
We are so sorry to hear the passing of your dad. Doc was my dentist for over 40 years. Doc's compassion towards his patients made the trip to the dentist less stressful even when I was young. His many acts of kindness for all students and athletes at Lorain Catholic are too many to mention but not unnoticed. He truly was an unsung hero who helped many people during his days on Earth. May God Bless.
