Not sure what to say?

When i think of the late Ron G. Russell passing at such a young age; i keep thinking of the small boy and his sister i knew as my.second cousins. My daughter was the same age as Ron's sister -Ron possibly a year and half younger. All three were so cute i wish we could all go back there- such a handsome and talented young man. He is missed all these years later- gone way before his time. "Goodbye, sweet prince"". Cousin Faye

I knew Ron back around 1991. We laughed at the oddest stuff, and could find humor in an empty soda can laying in the gutter. I remember he was so excited to jam on my drum set or when the Jerky Boys first came out, he had to bring that cd over, we sat and laughed till it hurt! Great memories is what I will remember about my friend Ron! Thinkin bout you, buddie!

I remember Ron warmly as a friend and a very talented singer. He was an enthusiastic and artistic guy and had a very upbeat personality. We were briefly in a rock band together four years ago and kept in touch over the years since then. I would have liked to have spent more time with him but there was a lot of driving involved in getting together, so it didn't happen often.

I was going to try to put a band together someday and maybe co-write some songs with him, but have had...

It all started one summer at Santa Rosa High. Stephanie and I became the best of friends and since then her family has been more to me then words could describe. I will never forget the day I met Ron. His laughter and his smile. When we all got together we always ended up laughing so much my sides would hurt. Ron was not only a good friend to anyone that knew him, he was someone that truley cared about those that were close to him. A man that adored his children, and a friend I will never...

Ron was always good about keeping in touch with me over the years even though we lived far apart. We would talk at length sometimes about life and our choices and he was always upbeat and positive about the future. He was a sweet and friendly kid that grew up into a sweet kind man. I wish now that we had made that extra effort to get together more often. Life is so short and was much too short for my cousin Ron. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

I wish I had been able to visit Ron on my last trip to Ca. this past May as this would have given us cousins a chance to catch up. He was a loving son and brother we will all miss.

I will always remember Ron as a cute little boy when he and his sister, Lil Steph (year older) stayed with my brother, Orin, (cousin) and his wife in Reno (both my brother and Ron's mom, Steph, worked there at the time) and Little Ron said he didn't want to eat my brother's cooking, but he and his sister wanted "mc Donald;s"'--such a handsome boy--cannot believe he is gone! I only wish I had seen more of him--fond remeberences--from both his cousin, Kathy (a couple of years older)...
