Not sure what to say?

Dr. Ron was a very gracious priest to me and our parish family. I loved his ability to give the background of the gospels and the Times that they were written. Never was there a boring or dull homily. He always took time to visit with me when I needed to talk. He was an advocate for me in healing and wrote a letter of recommendation for my attempt to enter the deacon formation program. A wonderful man, a servant of God. I shall miss him greatly!

My sympathies to Father Ron's family

I grew up on Magnolia Street, across the alley from the Wasowski's. My parents were Bob and Theresa Audenaert. I remember Father's ordination at Moreau with Mrs Wasowski in a hospital bed. I must have been around seven or eight at the time. I was too young to understand the ceremony, but it left an impression on me. I can't go into Moreau without thinking of Father Ron.
When Father celebrated his 25th Jubilee Mass at St Casimir, my...

I am so saddened to learn of Fr. Ron's passing. He was a college classmate and dear friend of my dad. Fr. Ron was very special to our family. I will always treasure the fond memories of his visits to my childhood home (which invariably included the special treat of him celebrating mass in our dining room or living room), our family day trips to spend time with him at Deep Creek Lake during the summer, and attending my first ND football game with him. His yearly Christmas letter is...

My thoughts and prayers are with Ron's friends and family. We were classmates at Notre Dame and Sacred Heart Novitiate.

Fr. Ron was a close friend to my sister, Judith Gilbertson. I just saw him in August when my sister and I and Fr. Ron went to the Hollywood Bowl to see the 1812 Overture with fireworks. My sister and I were especially appreciative of the fact that Fr. Ron drove us there since he knew where he was going and we did not. He was good that way. I know he had many, many friends in the Los Angeles area that are grieving his loss. I am very happy that he had the chance to go to Spain to...

Fr Ron was the sweetest and kindest men I know He was a faithful priest and outstanding educator, I took classes from him and he truly spent his time to inspire students to love nature. Rest in peace Fr Ron may the Lord be with you always. Amen.
