Not sure what to say?

What a beautiful tribute to the life of Ron Westendorp. I was a high school classmate of Ron. Saddened by his death but comforted to know he is with Jesus and we will meet again.

Jan & Family:
It has been several years, since we lived in the Martin area. Yet we still remember you and Ron well. We were sorry to see the notice of Ron's passing. In so reading, it was inspiring to read of Ron's faith and his acting on that faith. You have our sympathies.

My deepest sympathies Aunt Jan and family. I have fond memories of Uncle Ron; he was so pleasant, kind, and funny. We are so sorry that we cannot see you in person, but please know my prayers are with you all. Blessings, Shirley (Veenema) Faas

Dear Jan & Family - I have many memories of visits on family vacations to Martin, MI to visit various Westendorp families. Then there were the many visits they made to Aberarder. I remember Ron & Jan and the growing family visiting over the years. Then later years you were always there when our family had losses. I have many Christmas letters and pictures from you Jan over the years. We had a few great get togethers at John's Restaurant in Sarnia. I remember our visit in 2006...

One of the best things that happened to me as a boy was when Ron Westendorp moved across the street from us in Martin. He was a little over three years older than me, but that made no difference to him. Ron was the big brother I didn't have. He totally enjoyed a good game of ping pong in our basement, and he turned into a very good player.

Ron was part of a wonderful family. He'd have me over to his house, where his mom always had some treat for us. He called his dad...

We sure enjoyed our time of living in the Martin, Michigan area and getting to know Ron and Jan better! So saddened by Ron’s passing our prayers go out to Jan and the kids! May Gods peace and comfort fill you with joy til you all meet again on that Happy Reunion Day!
