Not sure what to say?

My heart cries for a wonderful man whose life was cut short. The memories of the Mike Hennessy cruise, the Spinning classes, comparing our back surgeries!--Ron you will be dearly missed. Jane may God give you a peace the surpasses any understanding. I cry with you as you face the future. Jane you have my love, prayers and hugs.

"The Voice" of the Spring 2007 SAS Voyage immediately rang in my head when I read the sad news of Ron's passing. It was amazingly clear and with it countless joyful memories came back to me. I will always smile thinking of Ron and the adventurous spirit that he and Jane shared with so many.

Rest in peace, Ron. Your voice carries on.

What a treat to have crossed paths with Ron's life. We shared countless meals across the world's oceans during Semester at Sea. We were enriched by his passion, joy and enthusiasm. Our lives have been inspired by his zest for life... We cherish special memories - paddling under the falls at Iguazu, Brazil and then back home again with the mini reunion 'gourmet picnic' lovingly prepared by Ron & Jane. What a team!
Jane, our hearts are with you... we cannot even fathom your loss.

A giant has fallen. No one embodied grace, peace, love, and light like Ron Wisner. The world is truly a better place for having his life grace it, and my life is richer for having his spirit inspire it.

Dean Ron, you will always be The Voice of the Semester at Sea Spring 2007 voyage. My condolences to Dean Ron's family, may it bring you comfort to realize his impact on people spans the globe.

May '07 on the MV Explorer sailing towards Japan

Ron was such a great soul on our Semester at Sea, Spring '07 Voyage. He loved to laugh and smile and was always doing just that. He threw his joy into every task at hand (i.e. converting celsius into fahrenheit)and never failed to impress our ship family with his outrageous costumes (see photo). This picture is from our "pre-port" to Japan and as you can see he was happy to share his laughter. He will be greatly missed and I feel honored that I was able to voyage The World with him.

I am from Colorado and Ron and I learned we had that in common somewhere near South Africa on Semester at Sea Spring 2007. He was a wonderful man and his family is in my thoughts.

I can still here his voice in my head from Semester At Sea 07 reading off the announcements for the day. It saddens me to think that "The Voice" is no longer there but his memory will live on in our minds everytime we think of that voyage. My condolences to his family, he was an amazing man.

My Dearest Jane and cherished children and wee ones...
Ron was our spinning class hero..not many things could get me up eagerly or anyother way to be ready at 5:30 am...but Ron did! Jane and Jesse wisely slept in till Saturday's class.
He often shared the best stories of all of your times....he had us in stitches with the Christmas tree story...chopping at one level..then the next...tree upstairs ,no downstairs...and up it went...beautifully decorated! CRASH!!!!...
