Not sure what to say?

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived. Mattie & Family stay stong in the Lord.
I am just a phone call away.

She was such a gracious Christian lady. When she left for California we missed her. When she returned to Houston we were here to rejoice at her return. Last week Mama Mattie, Mama Pickett and others were together to welcome her home. Praise the Lord.

I was dismayed to learn of RoRo's death and I would like to express my sincerest sympathy. RoRo was highly respected by Esquire and marching band members during my high school years. She was regarded as a nurturer by everyone who worked with her. Whenever I came over her house to visit Carthon, I knew to be respectful and most importantly not so noisy. You couldn't help but be respectful in her presence, mainly because she demanded it. Generosity and respect is not only what you've...

To my family, my prayers are with you as you go through this time of seperation. But we know this one thing - that we shall see each other again at the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. This I am sure of.
Love,

LOVE YOU ALWAYS, RO RO...

Ro-Ro will indeed be missed, and she was not only Carthon's grandmother she was all of the Esquire's and Band's grandmother. I remember the times when she use to get on Carthon for acting up and trying to keep him from getting in to trouble. To the family I keep you in my prayers and always remember that God does not make any mistakes, he only takes the best.

RoRo was a very special woman and important figure in my entry to adulthood. Anytime Carthon, myself, or any of the Esquires were heading toward trouble, RoRo and Sweetie were always there to be our conscience and guide in the right way. She was loved by all and will be surely missed. RoRo, we all loved you and thanks for always be there for us when we needed it most.
