Rosalie Rattei Obituary

Rattei, Rosalie Michele
26, of Phoenix passed away on November 1, 2011. Rosalie went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 1st, 2011 at the age of 26. Rose was born January 2nd 1985 in Floydada TX to father Jaycen Rattei, mother Theresa (Martinez) Rattei, and older brother Matthew Rattei. Although she moved at a very young age to Phoenix, AZ her heart remained as big as Texas her entire life. Rose attended school in Glendale, AZ where she graduated from Deer Valley High School in 2003. She then went on to become a jeweler for Jared the Galleria of Jewelry where she was able to use her artistic skill to create beautiful pieces of jewelry for many of her family and friends. She spent five years with the company, became a jeweler and earned her Precious Stone Setting certification. Rose had the disposition of an angel, and was kind and generous to everyone. Although Rose was very quiet and observant, she was surrounded by too many friends to count. She had a love for all animals, adopted many, and made regular donations to animal charities like the ASPCA. She also made regular donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital. Rose had an unbreakable commitment to her family, and spent her life developing strong relationships with her loved ones, including her very large extended family. She became an aunty in 2009, and developed an instant, mother-like bond with her niece Aria, who just adored her. Rose loved to shop! She could spend hours at the mall finding the perfect outfit. She loved anything Marilyn Monroe, and like Marilyn, she made sure her makeup, hair, manicure, and dress was perfect for each occasion. Rosalie is survived by her father Jaycen, Brother Matthew, his wife Brea-Anna, and niece Aria. Rose was preceded to heaven by her mother Theresa. Although our sweet Rose has left this world, she will remain in our hearts forever. Her life will celebrated on Sunday November 6th at Phoenix Memorial with a 6pm memorial, and 7pm Rosary. On Monday November 7th a Catholic Mass will be held at 10:00 am at St. James Parrish in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Jude's or the ASPCA. St. Jude's or ASPCA

Rose, my heart breaks when I think how we lost such an amazingly kind and caring heart. The memories and fun times we had will stay with me forever, they helped to mold who I am today and I thank you for being who you were to so many people. My prayers are with you Jay, Matt, Bre-anna, and Aria.

Uncle Jaycen & Matt
You guys are in my thoughts and prayers! I didn't have a chance to get to know Rose, but I do remember when she was born. She was such a sweet Angel. May you find the comfort you need in through God, your family and friends. I love you both more than I can express. Teresa (Rattie) Head

Jaycen, I was very sorry to hear about this heartbreaking news. I remember Rosalie as a sweet curious girl and have a feeling that this did not change as she grew into a young lady. No one can take away this pain, but know that all that she is and was to you and her loved ones, all the love that you shared, can never be taken away. This website is a wonderful away to share the beautiful memories of her. Praying for your family. Love,

Jaycen, I feel bad that I won't be at the funeral. It's my weekend to work & you know what it's like on deer season opener in ND to find someone to work for you, Alligiant was booked & Delta & United tickets were $1000. I'm not trying to make excuses, but it still bothers me.
I don't know why you had to lose two loved ones in your life already, only God knows the reason.
Know that Meredith & I have you in our thoughts & prayers, as do our classmates. I plan to offer a mass for Rosalie at St Mary's. I would also like to attend mass at St. James when we come down in January.
I know you have plenty of family there now to comfort you.
Will plan to spend as much time with you in January as you want while we are there.
Take care of yourself, & hug that Aria tight. I don't know of any better therapy than hugging those grandaughters.
your friend, Joe Gross
