Chambers Funeral Homes - Cleveland Obituary

ROXANNE WALLACE, age 79, passed on December 1, 2025, surrounded by friends and loved by family. Roxanne will be remembered fondly by her brother Bob, his wife Susan, her niece Kate and nephew Jake, and their children Declan, Dylan, and Margaret and many friends.

Roxanne was the daughter of Evelyn and Clifford Wallace. She was born in Lakewood, Ohio in 1946 and grew up in Rocky River, Ohio. She was a graduate of Ashland College and John Carroll University.

Roxy is well remembered in the Cleveland community as the Co-Founder of CATS, Community Assessment and Treatment Services.

An important member of Roxy’s extended family was Dudley, her beloved Wheaten Terrier, and Albert Blutnar, her award winning basset hound.

Roxanne loved the simple things in life, going to plays, exploring new restaurants, the occasional trip to the casino and bingo hall and most importantly, enjoying time with family and friends.

We are all grateful for the wonderful care and support from Generations and Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Visitation THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2025, 3 P.M.-7 P.M. at the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Community Assessment and Treatment Services, Inc. (CATS), c/o Director of Development, 8411 Broadway Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44105 or online at communityassessment.org

Not sure what to say?

Rest in peace my dear friend of more than seventy years. We grew up together in Rocky River. We had wonderful times together from sleeping outside in the summer, annual Cedar Point trips, time spent at grandparents in Painesville and Lake County fair, summers at the pool and winters at the rink. We enjoyed theater in Cleveland and great restaurants too. She loved to play cards, especially hand-n-foot and won many times. Thanks for the memories and so glad you were in my life.

So sorry to hear. Roxy will be missed. The angels will welcome her with open arms.

I met Roxanne in college and we immediately became friends. She always thought of her friends before herself. We were roommates all through college and we had so much fun together, she was a very intellect young woman. The world will miss Roxanne.

My dear friend, Roxanne, I will miss swimming w/you at Foster Pool. You did not attend a lot (work came first), but you lit up my day when you did. I know you are in heaven because you were an angel here on earth! My very sincere condolences to your family & many friends!

" I WANT TO GIVE A SPECIALTHANKS TO THE LORD ABOVE FOR ALLOWING US TOO BORROW ROXANNE WALLACE FOR AS ALONG AS HE DID" THAT WAS A SPECIAL BLESSING ON OUR BEHAVE. THANK YOU

Such a genuine incredible person, who helped so many people through their journey of change.

Roxanne was a very peaceful, calm lady my prayers are with her family and friends!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Roxanne was a beautiful soul. May she rest peacefully in the hollow of his hands. I am Praying for the Family!!!
