Jeanne, You have no reason to remember me, but I worked at Holland Drug for Roy in the late 1960s. While doing some research I learned today (Dec. 8, 2020) of Roy's death. My memories of those times at Holland Drug were great times....work on the square, getting Uncle Jeff's started, and meeting Harry Whayne. My deepest, and certainly belated, sympathy. Jeanne, Dana, Lisa and family, I was so sorry to learn that Roy had passed. He was so warm and funny and one of the friendliest people I ever met. An easy person to be around if ever there was one. I remember how kind Roy was to our family during my father's year-long illness and passing. Daddy had to be careful about saying he wanted something around Roy because Roy would show up at the house with whatever it was! I will miss him a lot. Jeannie, I am so sorry to hear about Roy. You both were so dear and sweet to me. When I painted for you back a few years ago, you made me feel like family, which I never forgot. May God bless you at this time and know you are in our prayers.
