Roy Edward Nicholas, 91, Bradenton, died May 24, 2017. Born in LeRoy, IL he moved to Bradenton in 1981 from Cincinnati, OH. A Veteran of the US Navy during World War II, he was a member of Westside Christian Church, where he was an Elder for 14 years and he was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Predeceased by wife, Wilma Jean; son, Steven Edward; survived by son, Perry (Julie) of Deltona, FL; daughter, Barbara Nicholas (John) DeForge of Bradenton, FL; brother, Joseph (Debbie) Nichols of Amelia, OH; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation 9-11AM Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel. Graveside Service 12Noon Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Palma Sola Community Cemetery.
