Dr. Ruby M. Thornton, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on 12-4, 2013. Her Life will be celebrated on Saturday, 12-14-2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Zion Baptist Church; 1620 Dollywright St. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Church. Interment @ Paradise North Cemetery.

May the blessings of the Lord continue and may your heart be strong during this time. I remember Ms. Ruby being a rock of strong will and determination. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, friend and minister. She will be missed by all who knew her.
