Not sure what to say?

He was a great man & will be greatly missed; may you rest in peace. We are sorry for your loss Laura.
Sening prayers and love to your family from ours.

I had the pleasure of knowing Russel back in the late 70s while working for Magistrate Weaver. At that time, he was Sgt. Russel Potter - he always had a kind word to say to you, a big smile, and very respectful. It was a true pleasure being around him. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

You're not forgotten, Rus. My days with you as a Tipstaff are memorable still and I'll remember you fondly who managed to put up with great collection of roustabouts. We loved him, Laura and we grieve with you.

I knew Russ all my life, and found him a very fair minded police chief, and a good man. It was an added pleasure to see him most days in the courthouse during my short tenure as an assistant DA. I have some funny stories about Russ that I love telling. He was a good man who treated me very fairly in my younger days growing up in Gettysburg. My deepest condolences to his family.

Laura ~ I'm so sorry for your loss of Russ. I enjoyed working with him and especially loved the holidays when he would share all of your wonderful baked goodies. Russ always spoke of you with such love and pride. I'm so glad he was willing to share his recipe for Block Party Beans. We still think of him every time we make them. Rest in Peace Russ.

Rest in peace Chief.

I will miaa you Sonny especially at out annual Picnic and Christmas get togethers. I am so glad we shared that time only a few weeks ago. I always felt you were the leader of our family and as they say the glue to hold us together. No one will be able to make your famous chili we all looked forward to each year. Your niece Dixie
