Not sure what to say?

Coach, You were a great Man . This world needs more leaders like you. When God called you home, I know he told you " A job well done, my faithful servant. You have earned your Rest." Sincerely, Juan (Wahoo) Gonzales NMHS class of 1976 You were loved by all. Your passing left a void in Humanity.

I just heard yesterday of Rusty's passing. I am so sorry for his family. I have only known him thru his works in the purchasing department at Mesquite ISD, I recently retired from Dallas ISD. He was such a nice, smart and understanding man. I know our Dear Father welcomed him at heavens gate with a big hug!!

Rusty was my older cousin and my football hero when I was young. He had a great, fun-loving personality and was surely loved, not only by his family but his friends, former students and athletes. A dear memory for me has passed.

I am the father of Jeff Hantes,Coach Talbot was the first coach at Mesquite High School to give my son a chance to play quarterback as a sophomore on the varsity team.My son was very fond of him,and respected him a greatly. He told my son once "take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves. That is something Dr.Jeff Hantes never forgot, nor did I. My condolences go out to his family. Nick Hantes

I recently heard of the passing of Coach Talbot I always remember him as tough, intelligent, fair, and humorous. He was one of the first men that believed and bet on me. It interesting the influence people have on a 16 year old kids that still resonates. Rest in peace Coach. You will never be forgotten. Jeff Hantes

Love you Coach Talbot.

Coach Talbot was a fine man. He was a coach in McKinney during my junior high and high school days in the late 50s and early 60s.
