Ruth G. Heflin

Ruth G. Heflin, 84, of Alliance, OH passed away Monday, February 16, 2004 at McCrea Manor following an extended illness. She was born August 24, 1919 at Marion County the daughter of the late Willis McIntire and Nelia Miller McIntire. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Heflin in 1986. She is survived by one son; Willis R. Heflin and wife Laurel of Alliance, Oh; two brothers; Wayne McIntire and wife Bernadine of North Canton, Oh and Dale McIntire and wife Betty of Monongah; one grandson; Mark A. Helfin and wife Hope of Germantown, Md. She was preceded in death by one daughter; Linda Sue Heflin and one brother; David Lee McIntire. Mrs. Heflin was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #47 of Shinnston and was a homemaker. Family and friends will be received at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike Street, Shinnston from 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday where services will be held Friday, February 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Roy Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery. Rebekah Lodge #47 will conduct a memorial service Thursday at 7:30pm.
