Ruth Ann Kalapinski

Mrs. Ruth A. (Rowe) Kalapinski, 78, of Lynn died Monday in North Shore Medical Center Union Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Richard Kalapinski.
Ruth was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Cyril and Helena (Donnelly) Rowe. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1953. She was proud to be a lifelong Lynner.
She worked as a Warehouse Manager for the former Livermore Shoe Company in Lynn for 27 years until her retirement. She previously worked at the General Electric Company for many years.
Ruth's true passion was the time she spent with her family and friends especially the times with her grandchildren. She was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed bowling and golfing. She attended Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son Richard Kalapinski and his wife Kristin of Middleton, her brothers and sister Robert A. Rowe of Rochester, NH, Laurence E. Rowe and his wife Judy of Brewster, Marian A. Kinney of Middleton and Richard J. Rowe and his wife Theodora of Hampton, NH. Her two cherished grandsons Joseph and Jake Kalapinski and many loving nieces and nephews including Shayna Dana of Middleton. Ruth had many devoted friends including Mary Malone of Lynn and Diane and David Miles of Lynn.
Ruth's Memorial Service will be in the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation period will be Saturday from 9:30 AM. Immediately following graveside services at St. Josephs Cemetery there will be a celebration of life at the Knight of Columbus Hall, 177 Lynnfield St. Lynn.
