Read MoreI don't remember meeting Ruth, but I definitely know her son Patrick and wife Roben. What an amazing woman Ruth was. I had no idea. I would have love to have coffee with her and chat up a storm. What an amazing life. And now I know why Patrick is such a wonderful son. God bless you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you go through this difficult time in the loss of your Mom. Little did I know years ago in Shelburne how our lives would cross in the furture. I went to school with Ruth's younger sisters and Richard was married to our daughter, Karen. We share the grandchildren having enjoyed several get togethers. Wish I could be with you tomorrow but will be with you in spirit. God bless such a lovely lady.

My best friend Jimmy would stand at foot of stairs yelling " mom , we are goin to be late for school " I would ride with Jimmy to BUHS. Amazing women. So sorry for Lapan family loss. Great memories growing up. Erik Ravenna
