Not sure what to say?

Ms. Prestridge was indeed a very special lady, neighbor and friend to all the kids in Battle Forest. We will miss her friendly smile and kind words. She was one of a kind. May she R.I.P. with her husband George.

Mrs. P was a very special lady to all of us children that grew up in Battle Forrest and yes usually at the pool or park. Thanks to all her family for sharing her. She was loved by me and countless others. We'll be praying for your family.

I was just another boy of Battle Forest. My family moved into the neighborhood in the late 70's after my father retired from Fort Benning. I remember my mother saying she wanted to get us into the neighborhood pool and so we went. We were greeted so kindly by this elegant lady who immediately made us do a "swim" test. I will never forget that! Of course having just been transferred from Hawaii we were like fish. For my entire Childhood, teenage years, and young adulthood the pool...

Ginny, I am praying for your family. I will always remember the wonderful times we had at the pool and at your house. Nothing but great memories for your mom. Love you,

Margaret Bragg

I also spent my youth in Battle Forest and will always remember her as the perfect lady.Professional, caring, always upbeat and just a genuine great spirited lady. They don't make people like her anymore.

Will always remember Ms. P's sweet sun tea, her blue eyes, and her stories! Rest In Peace.

Great lady who truly cared -- she was like a second mother to me when I grew up in Battle Forrest (1966-1969) -- I was glad to visit her last year during my visit to Columbus. She will be truly missed. Slow Salute!
