Not sure what to say?

Gus, you taught me more than how to play guitar. You taught me how to be a Pro musician. You instructed so many people through the years that went on to be successful local musicians, and beyond. You never failed to show up at my gigs even 20-30 years since I took lessons. You were like proud Father, and you would beam while you listened. You've even seen me walking home from the store, and drove me home, and ask me how my parents were doing, you were such a kind man Mr Gutierrez. There will...

rest in peace Gus... you were a great person and guitar teacher. I'll never forget you.

Gus will always be a great person ... I know he helped many people find a job when he worked for SER Jobs. He was proud of it. You did a great job Gus!

Dear John,

I am sorry for the death of your father, Gus. Having just met him in March 2013, I do not know much about him. He sat with my sister, Judy, at a table at Essington Place. We had lunch a few times together. He was always so polite and wanted to have a conversation about my family and his in the past and present. May God bless him and your family. Please accept my sympathy.

Our family have many fond memories of Gus and all the guitar lessons (& piano). He was so great with my son and helped in his developing into a great musician and music teacher. You were a true angel here on earth, you have definitely earned your wings, Gus.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers, much love. Ray and Joyce

Gus was a real inspiration to his guitar students at Bristol Grove Music in Plainfield.
