It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sam B. Ishizuka on Oct. 19, 2010. He was born on September 4, 1934 in Mesilla Park, N.M. But spent the majority of his life in Oxnard, Ca. His last days were surrounded by his family and friends.

I worked with Sam at the Missile Systems branch at Point Mugu. Always friendly and easy to talk to. He had allow of history of downtown Oxnard.He was a neat man. I remember him well. Gerry Weeks Retired Ventura.

Dearest Cousins Helen, Frankie, Yoli, John & families.....Our deepest heartfelt sympathy & prayers are with you in the loss of our cousin Sammy.
He was always so very good to us and our family. We will surely miss him.

Mrs. Ishizuka and Family, I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Ishizuka. I've always appreciated the time spent with your family while growing up and the priviledge to have been coached by one of the finest men I've ever known. I'm certain that I can speak for all the young men that were mentored by him, he will forever be remembered respectfully as "Coach".

Helen and Family, Frankie, Johnny, Yoli and Families, Good memories of my primo Sammy will remain in my heart. He was a gentle giant, a teaser/clown, a good role model. I know you will miss him greatly, especially his beloved grandchildren. You all will remain in my prayers.
