Not sure what to say?

Our heartfelt condolences to the Pate family during this time of sorrow and grief. Sam and Lavina were definitely one of a kind couple who loved the Lord with all their hearts and souls. Their places in the pew in front of us are still empty and we want to reach out to them each Sunday but they are not there. They were such hard and dedicated workers doing what was necessary in the life of the church and they are greatly missed. Our love and blessings to all, Larry and Suann Thrall

God bless them both. The kindest people that I have ever met.

Most heartfelt condolences to the entire Pate family. This is a tremendous loss for all who's lives they touched, and there are so many. Mr. and Mrs. Pate were such a beautiful couple and set a wonderful example for the generations to follow. Fun loving and dedicated. They will be greatly missed.

Neither I, nor any family member has ever known two more loving and pleasant people. God has taken Sam and Lavina back to their true home with Him. We shall miss them and try to be as loving as they were. God's blessing to all who also knew Sam and Lavina.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort knowing that those who die, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. - Psalm 116:15

I was so sorry to see this in the paper. I met them when I helped the soup kitchen where their daughter Ranae was in charge. They were a cute, loving, wonderful couple and they will be greatly missed. Ranae I am so sorry for your loss. Tania

My heart broke when I got the call about Sam and Lavina. They were two of the busiest active twosome I have ever known. They were constantly volunteering or traveling. We have been friends and email buddies for 30 years and I will miss both of them. My only comfort lies in they will never had to live without the other as they seemed to do everything together. I will miss my Christmas and birthday emails from my favorite boss ever. My condolences to Sammy & Tena, Ranae and Warren.
