Samuel H. Sackman

Hugs and condolences all around. Sam will be missed. It's an enormous -- and comforting -- testament to him that his children and, now, his grandchildren continue his work. He leaves an enduring legacy. [I'm an inherited mugrat. My closest friend from grade school, Julie, married Ken, one of Sam's sons. I also have a very tender place in my heart for Jerry, Sam's brother, and his wife Sandy.]

What a terrific life. I'm grateful for having met Sam, if only once.
