Sam was the coolest dad of all my friends growing up. Met him through my friendship with his son Charlie @ 1977. Sam was more alive than most kids my age. Taught me how to ski and laughed his a#* off as I attempted to learn. Fond memories driving up to Stowe VT in his Suburban and staying at his friend's cabin (Tom??) as well as the Bottom Notch (or was it the Top Notch??!) Motel on another visit to Ski Country North East. Joined him, Mary, Charlie and a few great pals when he & Mary went...
