Sandra Lee Baxendale, 68, of Bangor, PA, passed away Friday, May 15, at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, PA.
Sandra was born in Fountain Hill, PA, on Aug. 23, 1951, a daughter of the late Lena (Favere) Duvo and Frank Duvo Sr.
Sandra was a 1969 graduate of Bangor High School. She enjoyed bowling, playing volleyball, and going to tricky trays and playing BINGO with her daughter. Sandra was employed as a sewing machine operator at the former A&H Sportswear in Pen Argyl, PA, until retiring in 2014. She was a member of UNITE, the garment workers union.
Sandra is survived by a daughter, Jamie L. Wickham, wife of John, and a brother, Frank Duvo Jr.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com.

I didn't know Sandra but if Jamie was a reflection of her mother then I would have to say she was a beautiful and amazing woman. R.I.P. Sandra

My sister and I played on Sandy's volleyball team in two leagues .We have so many memories of all the fun and laughs we had .She will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her.Our condolences to her families. Candy,and Liz.
