Hockett Sandra Lee Hockett was born September 24, 1942, and was granted her angel wings on June 9, 2017. She was surrounded by her husband, daughter and first born grandson at Hope Hospice. Sandy graduated from Franklin Heights High School in 1960, and went to Bliss College and became a legal secretary for many years and taught Ballroom dancing. She later became President and part owner with her husband Jerry Hockett of J.A. Hockett Company. Sandy was an avid golfer, loved Las Vegas and spending past time on the Big M Casino. Sandy had a lively spirit, and her laugh was contagious. She will be missed by all. Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Jack Simpkins and Mary Ransburg. Sandy is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Jerry; daughter, Kimberly; sons, Tre and Craig (spouses); grandchildren, Jordan, Weston, Nicholas, Andrea and Lance and four great grandchildren; brother, Michael Ream; and sister, Barbara Sky-Tisi. We will celebrate her life in Fort Myers, Fla in the Fall.
