I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I wish I had known your Father. His generation made a huge contribution to our lives. Helen London

I offer my deepest sympathy, prayers and love to the extended Schwartz Family. I have wonderful memories buying clothes in Peskins Department Store. Mr and Mrs Schwartz dress four generations of my family members. Our Great Grandparents, Grandparents and Parents purchase all of our clothing from Peskins. Mr and Mrs Schwartz pick out my first college ( Homcoming ) suit and had it mail to Tuskeege University so it would arrive on time. As a African American they were the most wonderful people I...

Please accept my sympathy, seldom can we find the words to console the pain,so I encourage you to read Isaiah25:8

Florence, Ronnie, and family,

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I know he will be greatly missed by you all and by many friends.

I was very sad to learn of Mr. Schwartz's passing after reading the wonderful article in the Banner-Herald today. What a tremendous legacy of courage, compassion, and service he leaves behind. Having first met him when he was in his 70's, I was always inspired by his positive energy and his love for people—something I will never forget. My deepest sympathies to his wife and family.

I had the honor of meeting and chatting with Mr. Schwartz when I transported him at Armc. I really enjoyed his stories in the short time I was in his presence. My prayers go out to the family God Bless you all.
