Not sure what to say?

I met Sara and her sisters & cousins way back in junior high at McCord Junior High School in Sylvania...used to always see her in the hallways between classes..somehow we met..Sara was always very smart and very sweet..and we were friend off and off for decades...She was a remarkable woman...I'll miss her...my best regards to the Rios family...

What can I say! I just learned of Sara's passing. Where was I? Sometimes we move so fast, we miss the things that matter most. Sara was a friend and a comrade. My fondest memory was being on the picket line with her and other striking workers. We share many stories and I will miss her. Rest in power, my sister/friend. Prayers and Candles for the family and all of us who must continue the work in her name! Presente Sara!!! Love and respect, Jaribu Hill

It is with great sadness that I just learned of Sara's death. I met Sarita in 1988 or so, shortly after she arrived in NYC to work at the Center for Constitutional Rights. I liked her immediately. She was smart, energizing, inspiring and fun. Over the years we lost touch and only recently found each other again. I was looking forward to reconnecting with Sarita and rekindling our friendship. Her contributions to peace and justice will not be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to...

I just learned this news. My sincere condolences to the Rios family. Diana Sharp

I met Sarita decades ago when I was working with migrant workers in Toledo. I am so, so sorry to hear of her passing. I know that her compassion and justice-filled spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

My condolences to the Rios family. Sarita and I worked together at the Center for Constitutional Rights decades ago. She was a gentle spirit and fierce advocate for social justice.

I'm sorry I didn't know of her death. I would have loved to attend the funeral.
Please accept my condolences. You all are in my prayers.

Our condolences to the Rios family. Sarita was a wonderful person who was always helping others.
