Sara was born on September 16, 1998 and passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Sara was a resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the time of passing. Sara attended local schools and was a member of Home Moravian Church, where she served as a diener for the Christmas Lovefeast services. A funeral service will be conducted in her honor 10AM Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Home Moravian Church, officiated by the Rev. Ginny Tobiassen and the Rev. Andrew Heil. Interment will follow at God's Acre. The family will receive friends 6-8PM Friday, September 7, 2018, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: the Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center, 6825 Rolling View Drive, Tobaccoville, NC 27050, Carolina Adoption Services, 630 N Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27401, or SOAR Camp, PO Box 388, Balsam, NC 28707.
