Sarah Snow Stever

Sarah was a part of my life through our mothers' long friendship since we were each conceived. Sarah and her mom attended my wedding 20 years ago and signed our engagement photo. It had large black matting and guests used a white pen to autograph it. That beautifully framed photo is on the wall in our family room and I'm reminded of Sarah when I look at it and see her name in her own handwriting.

I was one of Sarah's roommates at U of M. I lost touch with her in the late '90's, reconnected w/ her by email around 2005 and learned she was thriving in Atlanta, but then lost touch again... I just thought of her today, and did an online search hoping to reconnect...and was shocked to read about her passing. I'm absolutely heartbroken. I have such wonderful memories of my friend. Her cutting my hair in our apt kitchen, and our long talks...I was a photography student and she was my muse my...

I was so very shocked and sad to hear today that we have lost Sarah at such a young age. She was a bright light for so many people and other creatures. I enjoyed having another midwesterner to talk to here in the South. And of course she gave me the best haircuts I'd ever had in my 50-some years. My deepest sympathies to her husband and her other family.
