Scott Wayne Davis

Greenville

Scott Wayne Davis, son of Carolyn Davis and the late John R. Davis died March 8, 2014 at his home in Greenville. He was born on November 3, 1970. Scott graduated from American University in 1996 with a BA degree, Ohio Northern University in 2001 with a Juris Doctorate and Villanova University in 2002 with a Masters of Laws of Taxation. He was a member of Sigma Epsilon fraternity and self employed at Davis Law Firm. Scott graduated from Christ Church Episcopal High School where he played baseball. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister Kimberly Davis Ankney and husband Chuck of Tampa, FL and John Russell Davis, Jr. and wife Nancy Lollis Davis of Greenville; two nieces Elizabeth Davis and Mary Grace Davis. Scott is remembered for his deep love of music, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets sports teams, Atlanta Braves, Oakland Raiders, NY Knicks and being a loyal friend to all.

A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12 at 1:00pm. Memorials may be made to Homes of Hope, 3 Dunean Street, Greenville, SC 29611 or homesofhope.org. www.woodlaw-fh.com

For the 29 years I knew him, Scott had a penchant for bringing laughter to every conversation or event he was involved in. He was a loyal friend who cherished having a good time, sports, music and the practice of law. I'm thankful for the many memories of great times spent with Buddha. RIP buddy!
